Easy to knit
This has worked wonderfully for a matching father & baby son vest & sweater. It looks like a tweed, but soft yet still holds up. Lots of yardage for each skein, which is a bonus. (252 yards!)
I Hate This Yarn!
I am knitting 2 at a time sox w/ this yarn & the Magic Loop method. I discovered midway through my project that, even though the label says the 2 skeins are identical, they're clearly different weight producing sox each with a very different hand & size.
I really do love this yarn.
This yarn is so nice to crochet with. It makes a really soft afghan. Problem is I can't find Sunset in the store or online. Hopefully they restock, I need 2 more skeins.

I wanted to make a Fall colored lap quilt for my daughter. Settled on Vannas Choice because of softness. THEN when I ran out of black and couldn't find a cream color, I went to Hobby Lobby. WOW! Love this yarn so much better. Wish they had more colors
FAVORITE DUE TO SOFTNESS
I crochet scarves for our military & chemo hats for patients. Yarn very soft, comfortable, not scratchy. A little costly since skeins are smaller than most. Wish HL was more open to discounts and coupon usage as I donate my scarves and hats.
Love the Tweed
Made a scarf with the red tweed. Like the yarn that has the metallic thread thru it, you have to be careful because the yarn strands separate easily. The scarf is very pretty. However, I don't think this yarn is as soft as I would like it to be.
Loving it
I bought the pastels tweeds for a crochet baby blanket. I love it, it was just what I was looking for. It is soft and easy to work with. I love the little specks of color. Definitely will buy again, this is perfect yarn for a baby blanket.
Not good for knitting
I love to crochet with this yarn but knitting with it is terrible. Splits very badly. Tweed is the only one I’ve knit with so I don’t know about other colors. But even with the splitting the blanket is turning out pretty
Would love more Black Tweed
Was gifted a skein of Black Tweed. First time ever knitting with it and I really enjoyed it, especially how this specific color turned out. I made a hat which quickly became my favorite winter hat. Would love to buy more. Will Black Tweed be back?
