Splits & Unravels
I WAS excited about this yarn. 5 stitches in it starts separating. Pulled from center and it’s unraveling. Doing a 3x3 test you have to crochet slowly so it won’t split/separate. Color Basil gorgeous BUT yarn is 2Thumbs down. LB Truboo is 100%better.
Very soft
Love this yarn. The yarn itself is VERY soft, slightly shiny, and comes in great colors. To be fair, it is a challenging yarn to work with because it does tend to separate, but after a little practice, you will be able to handle the yarn so it doesn’t.
Have to knit slower but great stitch definition
This yarn has great stitch definition and doesn't create a lot of 'fuz'. It's also really soft. The basil color is beautiful. It is a bit 'thready' (sorry I don't know a technical term for it) so you have to be careful not to split the yarn when knitting.
Splits
This yard has a very nice drape to it for garments however it splits sooooo much when your working with it that its not worth it. You have to work slowly or you will get frustrated.
Love it
It did spit really bad when I used a 4mm hook but when I used a 5mm hook It was wonderful and soft and really pretty
Beautiful yarn
This yarn is so soft and there's zero pill but it's harder to work with so if patience isn't your thing try a different yarn.
beautiful colors, very soft, but what a mess!
I am so upset about this skein. i couldn't find the end of the yard for forever because when I pulled out the center, a TON of it all came out in a big huge knot. took me FOREVER to get the end out and untangle the knot so that I could actually use it.
Sliiiiippery
I bought this on a whim because it was really soft and I heard great things about bamboo yarn. I’m making a two piece set and it’s perfect! The basil color is to die for. Took away a star because of how easily the threads separate. Patience is key
Love it!
This yarn is absolutely amazing. The stitch definition is like none other. It is very soft and silky. I have read the other reviews and to be fair, it does demand patience when using, but once you get used to it, its worth it. Wish there were more colors.
Pretty when finished, frustrating to work
The finished project is drapey, soft and feels lovely… however this yarn was so frustrating to work with.
Tangles for days, unravels and splits, refuses to be caked as it jumps of the winder. Pick your battles I guess
