Because it can expand to two length of needle sizes, the pen can be used to create 3-dimensional designs and appliques. Similar to an ink-pen grip, the handle allows for ease of use. Oil in the case, crooked needles
I bought this at a local Hobby Lobby. The needles in this pen come greased, so you have to wipe them off, and getting the final needle in is tricky. You could break the tip. Also, they go in crooked. So I'm not sure these needles would last long.

Bad tool. Needles are not aligned properly.
Waste of money
The tool was okay for a bit. Then the needles snapped after I used them only TWICE. Not very happy.
Horrible
I just bought this product and it worked "OK" for the first half an hour then all three of the needles snapped. I will never get this again, it was a waste of my money. I do not recommend buying this.
Works well
I bought this felting pen over 2years ago, and I still am using it. I have replaced the needles once or twice, but it works well. You do have to make sure that the needles are properly aligned in the correct grooves, and this might take several attempts
Snapped after one use
Do not buy! All three needles snapped after using it less than 5 minutes. What a waste of money.

Purchased this 1 Hour ago and 2 of the 3 needles broke upon using in the first 5 minuets.
Waste of your money
within the first 20 minutes one of the needles snapped and when I went to change it the pen won't come apart. I checked the package to make sure I was doing it right but the pen won't come apart. It's supposed to twist off. won't even begin to come apart
not worth it
won't even go through the thinnest of felt, to hard, afraid to put pressure the needles break easily.
Breaks easily
Two stars is being nice. Snapped all needles within an hour.
