No on/off button????
There is no way to turn it off to conserve the battery. Once it is on, it is on forever….forever….forever….forever….or until the battery dies. Other than that it would have gotten 5 stars.
Great idea - lousy execution
As stated, battery life is compromised with no on/off capability. Don't even try to replace the battery either…impossible to get to it without taking out two tiny screws and once the case is opened, nothing is secured - pieces scatter everywhere.
Great item!
I already had a clicker type counter for my knitting but wanted to get a counter that was noise free. This counter fit the bill for me. It is completely quiet and fits on my finger if I want to use it that way. Perfect!
Counter
There is no on and off but mine after so long will automatically shut off and all I have to do is hit a button and it brings back up the number that was left on. I love mine and am thinking of getting another

Awesome and inexpensive
Easiest way to keep track of rows. It does shut off after several minutes of no use. My battery has lasted several years with almost daily use. I love mine so much I bought a second one in a different color.
I’ve seen incorrect reviews!
I’ve seen multiple times that the only wrong thing with the device is that once it is turned on it’s on and won’t go off. That’s not true… you can’t turn it off manually, but it does go off after not being used.
