Worst floss for cross stitching

My local Hobby Lobby stopped stocking DMC and replaced it with Artiste. I didn't really think anything of it, so I just bought what they had. This floss is so cheap and the metallic one especially is extremely fragile. This floss breaks way too easily.

SO PRETTY!!

I went to the store to buy some floss,to make some bracelets and found this lying there.True,it does come apart when you cut it,but the color is perfect for my unicorn charm bracelet!

Bad quality

Not good for cross stitching. Live and learn. Don't veer from DMC.

not easy to work with

I use this floss for an embroidery kit on my shop and thankfully I only need a very small amount (for making like 3 small stars). If you plan to use this for any needlework, I recommend using it in very small amounts cause it tends to fall apart easily.

Use small amounts at 1 time

Like others reviewers, I, too, found this floss difficult to use. I'm Cross stitching a motorcycle for my son for a Christmas present & thought it would be neat to swap out grey for the shiney floss. Am using it anyway, but have to have extra patience.

Solid Floss

We use this floss to thread jewelry for presentation purposes and it is sturdy enough to withstand movement and personal handling. Nice color too.

Awful

This is really awful Floss. It only makes a few nice stitches and then the metallic part of the Floss starts breaking away from the rest of the Floss. Artiste is an awful brand.

Absolutely awful.

Purchased because I thought it would be easier than ordering online. Not worth it. Hard to work with. Impossible to thread. Unravels and frays within seconds. Pure garbage. I was also overcharged for mine. Thanks, Hobby Lobby.
