Forget cake, I use it as a soap mold
I love this mold, it makes the prettiest soaps. Easy to peel away after they've cooled and set. Easy to clean.

It is not great for baking. The design does not come through well, however, they are excellent for candy melt shells for cupcakes. They come out great even without spray.
