Terrible Design for a Simple Idea
Thin unremovable? metal prongs left after pulling bottom off make it hard to get glass out without damage, should have been removable wood pegs. If not returning it: unscrew 2 screws; pull bottom front STRAIGHT up; straighten metal if bent; glass stuck?

Thanks to other review. Would never have figured out how to open by pulling bottom straight up. Not sure about bent metal though. Did like that tiny holes for sawtooth already there to help with centering.
Nice frame…… but…..
not obvious on how to open! I bought the 8 x 10 which might be different than the 5 x 7 size. Here's the trick: remove the 2 screws, then carefully flip the frame over. The FRONT edge will release to which you can remove the glass.

I'm surprised by previous reviews. I believe it was pretty easy to open and assemble. My only warning would be to becareful placing the picture to not get finger prints on the glass. Other than that it is beautiful we have one for each furbaby & each kid.

Good Grief. Yes this was like trying to figure out a Chinese puzzle. Thank goodness for the other reviews. Yes Unscrew the two bottom screws on the back… Next flip the frame over and the bottom front wooden part of the frame will be able to flip down…

Beautiful frame but….
I didn’t have any problem with the design and removing the foam pieces that protect the floating glass. What I was deeply disappointed in how much effort, time and rubbing alcohol to remove the adhesive attached to the glass with the packaging.
IMPRACTICAL in all aspects
▪︎Unscrew to open frame ▪︎ Use wd40 and pure acetone to remove glass glue ▪︎NEED eye wear tools to screw on the hardware ▪︎Struggle to secure photo without using tape or tacky product ▪︎Glass is SO thin. May breake while cleaning off tye gunk. ▪︎$$$
