Downgrade from the previous style of shadowbox.
Very disappointed with new product. They're too deep to see what you put in them, the paint chips/scratches easily & the plain cut makes the flaws in the wood stand out. The old ones were way better. Used to buy hundreds per year, will look elsewhere now.
Sad to see them get so cheap
Really miss the ones they use to offer, i don't see why they would be replaced with lesser quality for $2.00 more…. hobby lobby is looking to make money over sell better products? Can't say for sure but it is unfortunate.
Missing the old product immensely!
Pleased w/ the other reviews because I would say all the same things; in addition the little tabs that hold the backs on break off SO easily. The old ones were so great! Price increase for a lower quality and frankly ugly product. Thumbs way down! :(
Look simply awful!
If you're lucky enough to get these shipped without them showing up already scuffed and scratched, don't plan on it lasting long. The paint chips SO easily. The old ones that I used to purchase in this size were such better quality, so much more durable!
New style frames, no!
These are terrible. Fat, ugly frame, with no room to put things in. Please, please bring back the older style! Also, the cheap fabric background material is not an improvement to justify the raise in prices.

Please bring back the old frames. The quality of this newer version of your shadowboxes is terrible. Looks cheap & mars easily! It's very disappointing. I've used your shadowboxes for years and now have to find another vendor :
Bring back old boxes please
The look of these new frames is so cheap and bland compared to the previous 6x3 shadow boxes you sold. Please bring back the old version or make an updated version with more character and wood tone options
Cheap & Chipped
Went to the store and they were all damaged, chipped and looked like cheap wood. Even the corner seams were uneven and gapping. Two of the glass plates had chips. Sad I have to go somewhere else.
For half the price not bad.
I bought these couple days ago for 50% off and upon inspection I did notice some cracks but nothing a black wood marker can't fix! I hope to find more when I go back :
