Not mentioned in description
These are permanently affixed to the base, making crafting difficult. My plan was to add vinyl lettering and stain the base and there is no way to do so with the acrylic glued in.
Removable acrylic
A previous reviewer stated that these are glued to the base. That’s incorrect. I purchased 15 for my wedding and was able to take the acrylic part off and add vinyl numbers for my wedding very easily.
Table numbers
We used these for a baby shower and wedding. They are not stuck to the base.
Acrylic stuck to wood base
Despite some of the reviews, the acrylic is stuck into the wood base. Will be returning mine as I wanted to paint the base.
They are stuck in
I purchased and have to return because they are in fact stuck in the wood. The wood isn't a good tone so I wanted to paint but it is impossible with the acrylic stuck.
You can paint around it
To all having issues with the concept that you can’t take the acrylic out of the base for painting - just tape off the acrylic with painter’s tape before you paint. Once painted peel the tape away. Super simple.
