Wood Playing Card Box

I love these little boxes! I wood burn designs on them and they sell like hotcakes. What a great idea at a wonderful price point! I can't do these fast enough for the demand.

I removed the front hardware, painted the inside and covered the outside of the box with polymer clay, embellishing it with the recipient's name on top with the suites of cards symbols on each corner. Then I screwed the hardware back on. So cute!

These boxes are ok, but the inner sections are too narrow for standard cards in boxes and the sections are too shallow to hold a deck without a box. This might work if you have narrower "bridge size" cards, but not standard. Disappointing.

It is exactly as described, but I just don't like how light the wood is. I would pay a bit more to have a higher quality grade wood. Perfect for the price paid though. Exceptional pricing.

I bought one and woodburned it. It took the burn very well and unlike pine, there was no issue with sap marks (which dont take the burn well)

Purchased this item to make playing card boxes with different designs on them but the decks of cards don’t fit. They need to fix this problem.

Picked it up, got splinters. First glance they put the latch in very crooked. It don’t fit the standard bicycle or bee playing card box, but it did fit about 30 cards loosely.

IMO: if you sand it all and repaint it its a good project for $2.50. Kinda.

Made an Alice in Wonderland themed playing card box. Came out beautifully and will be making more!! I hope hobby lobby keeps this item available
