I used ready-mix concrete last Fall for a project stepping-stone project with our grandchildren, and it was a disaster! I knew we’d get this right this Summer. The Stepping Stone Mix was just what we needed! Mixing was easy; drying time was quick.
Terrible!
Used this cement to make additional stepping stones after purchasing a kit. This cement is GREY! it is incredibly unattractive. It dulls the beautiful mosaic pieces. Once it dried it looked like it was mildewed. Such a disappointment.
To the anonymous that complained about the product
Of course the product is gray, if you wanted to add color to it, i suggested painting the surface and to avoid the mildew you should apply a cement sealant to avoid that.
Terrible
This product is awful. Even after the allotted curing time, it’s very weak and crumbling. So disappointing. I returned it!
Happy repeat buyer
I’ve used this mix many times over the years with great results. Never had the mildew problem that other person mentioned, maybe because dry climate. Recently moved to humid state so will try the sealer. Otherwise, repeatedly pleased with this product.

No problems after 13 years
I've been using this mix for 12 years. All the stepping Stones stay outside absolutely no problems with mildew. None of my stepping stones are sealed. I've had great results accurately following the directions and having quick setting stepping Stones.
I love this stepping stone mix
I have now purchased this mix several different times to make 6 different stepping stones. I've never sealed any of them and never once have I had any issues at all. All came out beautifully and the oldest I have is now 5 years old and still looks great!
