Mosaic Gecko Kit

I bought this for a fun little project for my 10 year old son. He loved everything about it. We had a nice little afternoon working on this. It turned out great!

Kit came with 10 black round tiles and 10 white round tiles…. Clearly to make as shown I need 12 black and only 2 white. Very disappointed.

I had to use a small saw & sand paper to reshape head because it was round on one side & square on other. As if it didn’t get cut fully. Also the photo is not accurate. The glass provided doesn’t fit the same-gecko is small.You need better glue & grout

The geckos body was smaller than I thought and awkwardly shaped, nothing like the picture. The tiles were all the same, no variety of sizes and barely fit on the gecko. Grout was cheap and just crumbled off. Save the $14.

This kit turned out as expected for the price. The pieces are a little big but I had a glass cutter I used to break some of the tiles into smaller pieces. The grout isn’t the best but it works if your not rough with your art afterwards. My kids had fun!

No tiles included in kit. Only gecko shape, glue and grout in box. Gecko is pretty small but cute.
