Gundam
It's really good and it's my first master grade model kit. The legs are the most articulated part of the body.
Very neat kit
This kit is really good. It has great articulation in the legs, but the torso and arms are lacking. Good part count and a solid design, with a transformabke core fighter. My biggest complaint is the nub marks and plastic quality.
Gundam MG master Grade
Yes indeed one the best yet
Extremely Old
This kit needs alot of work to make it look good. It is very old and it shows. Hobby Lobby needs to source better MG kits.
Good Master Grade starting point,
I've built dozens of Master Grade MG over the years. It's a reissue of an older MG Gundam Rx-78. This kit featured interesting molding choices for it's time that surpass Revell, Academy etc. When completed it'll be roughly 7in. poseable w/ weapons inc.
Would not recommend
Extremely outdated kit. Plastic quality is terrible and for the price, definitely not worth it. If you would like a solid mg rx-78-2, I would recommend the 3.0 version. Basically the same kit but a lot better.
Good for it's time
Please note that this kit is actually really old. It came out around the early 2000s which is why some might find it to be a bad kit. But even though it's old it's definitely still a decent kit and I for one definitely enjoyed building it
outdated
the kit itself is a nice starter. but other then that it. it’s too much work to make it look good the 3.0 ver is so much nicer and for the price of this especially when it’s at full price not a discounted price… it’s not worth just save for the 3.0 gundam
Master Grade Building Great Hobby For Novice and Professionals
Master Grade Gundam kits are a lot of fun, offers many challenges and custom builds.
Start with HG before MG to learn and gain experience.
I recommend this hobby
Need More MG Model Types to build.
12 HG and 4 MG all bought at Hobby Lobby
Overpriced
The Zaku 2 is an older model and lacks the articulation found in newer releases. Still, it's a fun build with high customization potential. Biggest drawback is the $55.99 price. It's about $15 higher than other retailers so wait for the 40% off sale
