Pick out some damp veg tanned leather and a mallet (sold separately) and insert the silver metal handle onto the stamp. Hammer the handle and stamp down into the leather to transfer the pattern.

Some letters stamp backward
I should have looked better, the “D” in my Set is backwards ..I’ve just ruined $60 worth of leather, thread, accessories/hardware, and 3 days work ….all wasted. Because one of the letters is not correct. I wish I could submit a picture.
The d is not backwards
this is a quality leather stamp set, especially for the price, the d is not backwards as the one other review states, just turn it about and it will be fine
