Great product! I made a leather notebook using three of these! It takes leather dye well and molds easy! I will deffantly be buying more of these before buying large pieces of leather from Tandy Leather.
price?
These squares, though good, we're $10.00. What happened so suddenly that a full $3.00 got added to the price? $13.00 is too much for such a small square. Tandy are now back in the picture.
Excellent
Leather feels wonderful and it's perfect for making a Midori style traveler's notebook. I have made several. This leather is pliable but not flimsy or floppy. Several friends made notebooks from this leather after they saw mine. All extremely satisfied!
Good quality project leather
I am creating a glasses case for my 3rd anniversary. This leather has been easy to cut and trim.
R&D Leather Works
Very pleased…Great for small projects, very clean and excellent tooling impressions that stay. Can be cased with large zip lock freezer bag. It has a very tight corrium that skives perfectly and even. I recommend this product to my friends!
Lots of pox marks
Normally when you buy a sheet like this it is considered an artisan cut, meaning they try to find a piece with as few as flaws as possible. This product however will end up as testing scrap. Pox marks and small scars cover most of the piece.
Good leather
I have made several thing with this leather and is pretty affordable I will continue to buy this for my projects for sure
Worth the wait
My store did not have this in stock, so they had to special order it for me and it came in very quick. The leather is very easy for me to work with as a novice and I would definitely buy it again.
Poor consistency
I have used 2 pieces of this material because iit is very thin and easier to shape. The hide itself is inconsistent as to texture and absorbance Regardless of proper prep and handling any dying comes out splotchy. I am using quality dye (Fiebing's).
Junk trash
3 leather remnants are trashy TINY pieces Not useful for Anything!
