Natural Tooling Goatskin
This leather is incredible for making wallets of any type, especially if you want to carve or stamp the leather. It accepts dyes well and is uniform in thickness and color. You can't beat this tooling leather for the price! Thickness is .8 - 1.0mm.

As a leatherrcrafter, i have purchased many hides of this weight from other stores, but his leather is amazingly clean. Grade "A". leather.

Best goatskin for wallets
I have used this goatskin for the inside pockets of my wallets because it makes them less bulky. Very nice leather.
Disappointed
Nice leather, clean smooth. However it is no where near the 4-6 sf as advertised. Lucky if either one I bought is 3 sf. That works out to about $11 a sf.

worth buying
In a world of only finding things online anymore, these days, it's been wonderful to go pick up a quality goat skin in person or buy here.. Thin enough to skive edges and make a bible/book, thick enough to tool and make many other things w/designs..
