Does not work

Purchased in store for a second grade science project. We followed directions with various light sources with no success. The prism is cut from plastic and you can see multiple small cutting lines. We believe this is why the prism does not work.

It works great.

I got this for my grandson’s science fair experiment, he's 2, and it works beautifully. It works best with sunlight, you just need a distinct ray coming through a window. It also works with a flashlight but the room needs to be dark for it to be visable

Works Great!

This made even better rainbows than I expected. I bought this for my 2 year old son’s science fair demonstration and it worked beautifully in a ray of daylight that came through the window as well as in a dark room with a flashlight.

Gimmick

We followed the directions and this piece of acrylic does not create rainbows like a real prism. There is also directions in the package to make a periscope out of it - which is impossible since a periscope would require two of these. What a rip off!

Does not work

Tried with multiple light sources and was unable to get it to work. I've owned well made prisms before and this one was just terrible.

That's a crazy diamond.

Bought it for an album cover. We tried it in different ways, Roger liked it better in full darkness. Figured we'd name the album Darkside. Anyways, it worked a charm.
