Hand Boiler
Watch art in motion with Hand Boiler! The heat from your hand appears to make the liquid in the bottle boil. This is a result of Charles' law by Jacques Charles.
In 1787, Charles discovered that a gas' volume is proportional to its absolute temperature. At a constant pressure (inside the Hand Boiler's glass), the gas' volume increases as the temperature increases. This means the heat from your hand causes the gas inside the glass to expand enough to displace the liquid. Make science fun!

Great way to see the warmth
AWESOME!!!
Amazing how this works! Bought one for a gift and now I am going to get one for myself!!!!
Loved it but beware!
Gift for my son. It was a huge hit! However, it got knocked over on my kitchen table. Not only did it break but the liquid that came out of it disintegrated the paint on my table! So, my gray table now has a lovely bare spot! Wish I could post a picture
Works Perfectly But Be Careful
I got one a few months back and have enjoyed playing with it. It’s a lot of fun to watch the liquid. Mine fell from the shelf and broke, it melted ant plastic it touched. Keep it away from anything plastic and it will melt it if broken.
Works great - but be careful when it breaks!
This works very well, but beware of breaking it. Liquids have different boiling points. Water boils at 100C, ethanol boils at about 70C. The liquid in here is an "organic solvent" that evaporates at low heat! That is why it "dissolves paint."
Then don’t drop it
Everyone that gives it a poor review has been careless and dropped it. It does exactly what’s advertised. It’s super cool and my son loves it. Would you give your favorite perfume a one star if you dropped it and it broke? Come on people!
Loved it but it broke now worried
We’ve had it for awhile and it fell off a shelf and shattered 🤦♀️ the liquid came out and now I’m worried what’s in it there’s no ingredients listed
