does not work
this does nothing the axles. the axles are not straight no matter how hard the tool is struck. the end that concaves the head does not leave a smooth finish. the tool has a gap with the nail in that is transferred to the axle. created more work than need

the tool does nothing for the nail. do not waste your money. axles look worse after using the tool than before
Do Not Buy
I bought this piece and the axle bending piece that goes with it , they do not work. They do not bend axles. I could not see that they did anything at all. I ended up bending the axles in a vice.
Bad Copies
I used he Derby Worx ones at a work shop and liked them so bought these for my use. Looks like they knocked off the originals but not very good, these don't work. Returning them.
Poor Design
The shaper deforms the axle, and the bender shears the axle rather than bending it. Clearances are wrong on both pieces. Total waste of money.
Different Experience
Bought the Axel Shaper & Bending Tool for my kids' Awana Grand Prix derby cars. The Awana axels appear to be higher quality than the BSA axels, as they were all straight out of the bag. Used this tool with the Bending tool for rail riding. Worked great!
