No good
Poor quality, not for serious stained glass artists
not so good
Poor quality glass foil. Tears easily. Doesn't hold solder well.
Studio Glass Foiling Tape
way to Thin , tangles easy
Great copper foil
I use this copper foil all the time and never experience problems. When using 40% coupon, it's the best deal available. Far too often people tend to leave reviews when dissatisfied. I am very satisfied with this product.
Good Product
Have used a considerable amount of this foil on several projects and haven't had any issues with tearing, tangling, etc. Would have bought more today but only 2 rolls in the store.
great foil
This foil is great all the way around. Use it all the time. IF LEFT IN SELF FEEDING package (see package instructions) or mounted on a foil no problem with tangles. also have had no problems with it tearing. I have been a stained glass artist for over 25
Black backing comes off
The black backing on this foil comes off. The result is copper can be seen through the clear or translucent glass. Perhaps it’s the flux remover or possibly the heat from the iron but the process causes the black coating to seep off.
The black smudges off
The black smudges off and melts when you solder. Leaves you with copper/black mess
Too thin
Worst copper foil I’ve ever used. Thin, wrinkles easily, tears, lifted off edges, doesn’t hold solder well. Too cheap. My previous copper foil was purchased only from glass store/company. I needed in a pinch. Never again.
Not so good anymore
I used to buy the black foil all the time with no issues. However, this last roll started separating right at beginning and when soldered the black melted off and left the copper showing through.
