Beautiful Red
This is my favorite color for stained glass. Works great with copper patina :) I would give it a five star but it’s double the price of the other colors :(
Zero stars
Hobby Lobby changed their glass supplier from Spectrum to some cheap no-name brand. The glass is horrible. Full of bubbles. Very disappointing since HL was my only local source for stained glass. I will have to order quality glass online now.
Quality Glass
This is a good glass to work with. to address the other 2 reviews of this product, 1. Red or any other 'Hot" color costs more to make hence the higher price. 2 Spectrum is now Oceanside so any stock labeled Spectrum is older.
What is the COE?
Does anyone know the COE of the treehouse studio glass?
Red glass requires gold
Red is expensive because they have to sacrifice gold by oxidizing,
To those complaining about red glass
Do any of you know what all is entailed in making the red colored glass? It’s expensive because GOLD has to be oxidized and basically sacrificed for the red color, you’re giving all these horrible rating because of the price and have no clue.
