Really nice for crafts and hobbies
NOT Plexiglass in Store
Went to the store in Yakima, Washington looking for this. What I was pointed to was a 1mm thick sheet of polystyrene. For anybody that knows, Polystyrene is what they make plastic cups and styrofoam out of. It is radically different then Plexiglass.
Dollhouse Windows
I bought this to make dollhouse windows. It is brittle and the edges crack very easily when cutting it. I was able to get it to work though by cutting the pieces larger then carefully shaving the edges til it was the right size. Ok for the price.
Not Plexiglass - Polythyrene
First - plexiglass is a brand - people think it is a type of plastic but it is actually a brand of acrylic - second this is polythyrene which is great for form moulding but terrible to cut because it is brittle.

This works great for engraving on a craft cutting machine. It does scratch easily, though.
Incredibly fragile
I bought this in store. As other reviewers have stated this product is very brittle. So much so that it didn't even make it home before breaking in two. Now I'm out of $6.99 and still need to find somewhere to buy real plexiglass.

If you are wanting something like plexiglass, go to the picture frames and buy the poster frame that has the plastic in it instead of glass. it is thick enough to be really sturdy and you can cut it with HD scissors. It doesn't crack. Doll house windows!!
