Have built 4 dollhouses now
And this is the roughest one so far. If you'e a dollhouse novice, this is not for you. Gables are in 16 pieces each; envision trying to line up…aargh. Attic tower is so far back that a dollhouse store owner of 35 years couldn't put in trim work. Horrid
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is absalutly the best doll house ever!! i love it so so so so much!
Love this
A little difficult to put together, but my daughter loves this house! Ours was missing some pieces but HL exchanged it out right away for us because the manufacturer was going to take too long to ship.
My favorite!
Recently built this house for my own purpose. Enjoyed constructing it. It has lots of room space and I filled it with everything that you could possibly put in it. Everyone loves it!
This used to be called the SanFransiscan. I have put together 2 of them. And enjoyed both!! It's a great kit, though a little complicated!!
A Challenge to Move
This is the second Painted Lady I've constructed. The first was so heavy (mounted on a 24"X36" piece of plywood) that the second version was constructed so that the roof and 3rd floor are separate from the rest of the house.
Still strong after 4 yrs and 3 moves
took 85 hrs plus electrical, first time builder. Used bungy cords on roof to hold it together while the glue dried (trickiest part), I'd recommend putting in electrical before wallpaper and flooring, but do it all before glueing in place…have a plan!
Challenge but rewarding
1st time builder, not everything lined up perfect, used caulk & paint 2 hide flaws. Sand, paint, electrical, and wallpaper before constructing. I put a board underneath & Lazy Susan (LS) & ran electrical thru the middle of LS, it spins freely w/lights on
For myself
This was one of the most remarkable houses so far. I did it in a pale green with lavender and purple accents. Quality A+. Not a detail was overlooked.
