Great shine
Excellent product for wood crafts.
Garbage
Cracks while drying and flakes off. Waste of money and a real canvas wrecker
Great on wood
Use this to coat all my indoor wood crafts. works great with no odor and dries very quickly so I can get multiple coats without having to wait
Dries Crystal Clear
Coated some vintage (used) lucite beads. They were not shiny and had surface scratches. I coated them in Dura Clear High Gloss. They coated evenly, dried crystal clear, it brought them back to look "like" new & the coating is not sticky. Love it!
Unpredictable
Got this as a topcoat for acrylic pour paintings (paint and pouring medium are also DecoArt). I followed directions, and tried it several different ways on several different types of paintings. Looked good when dry to the touch but cracked when dry.
Best I've found
I have tried many polyurethane finishes to coat my handmade wood ornaments and this is by far the best. It doesnt crack and it is so clear and flawless. I see some comments about it cracking when drying. That only happens if you get the coat way too thick
I think I'll skip this one next time.
Results are not good. Used it over acrylics and the first coat was so so. It dried 2 days. I went over it lightly with 0000 steel wool and added a coat. After that coat + all others, the piece was covered with major hairline cracks. Pretty much ruined.
Great
Works great for rock painting. Gives a nice glossy coat
Duraclear
Works but I airspray it on my models. Half Duraclear and half water. 2 coats.
Rock painting top coat
If you use over acrylics make sure you mode podge it first then use the varnish…good results then.
