FolkArt Acrylic Paint

I really love folkart paint. I like that it is not too thin but not too thick where it's hard to work with. The acrylic dries in a matte finish which makes it easy to dry…also, u can use just one coat depending on what you're painting.

I actually use FolkArt to paint on canvas and rocks. It is not as thick as professional grade paint but sure works nicely if you are on a budget.

This paint is so thin full of water its worst paint ever used

For this purpose, the paint is thicker than other craft-level paints in my experience. The selection of colors is beautiful, and they can be mixed/blended with one another and many other brands to render different desired colors.

I used this the Metallic Christmas Green to repaint cement frogs and couldn't believe the coverage. We purchased way more paint than we needed. I was very impressed with the coverage. I used 1 1/2 - 2 ounce bottles for frogs about 18L x 6W x 6D.

These paints are the best to use for painting wood plaque's or ceramics.

Folk Art Paint is really top quality, especially as it is considered a lower level "craft grade" paint. It's very thick and has a lot more pigment to water ratio than other brands. Americana /Deco Art is nice too.

I needed an exact color. I have an HP 4K color monitor, that is supposed to be accurate. I saw the color chip on the product page and that is what I needed. However, after getting it and putting some of it onto a test panel it is entirely different.

I’ve been looking for a color to match the deeper shades of malachite the Deep Viridian is perfect and as I have come to expect from FolkArt the paint was perfectly thick, creamy, and with great color saturation.
