Good, cute fun!
I use Sculpey III for making my kawaii cabochons, and it is a great clay! It's easy to mold and is durable once baked up. I usually add a gloss spray finish once it's all done.
Not exactly what I expected…
I was very happy about the price/amount of this clay and found it decent to work with though it is very sticky. I did a lot of research on baking clay and was slightly distressed when my object broke when I got it out of my oven. Might use again :(
Oh My Gosh!
The glow in the dark clay was AWESOME! It had a nice glow that was perfect for my DIY clay kuchi kopi! Would definitely buy again and recommend!
Love it
I use this clay to make miniature gumdrops and candies for my gingerbread houses. It's soft and easy to work with. Sometimes I make long pieces and I can break them to the size I want after baking. I recommend A harder clay when using red with white.
Love it!!!!!!!!
I use this clay to make figures, cupcakes, flowers, paper clip toppers, etc. Sculpey has never let me down. I prefer it over Fimo because Sculpey does not crumble like Fimo clay does. It also is more forgiving if you accidentally bake it for too long.
Just started learning
I just started learning about clay and this is the one we use in our online classes www.gonetothedogsusa.com and I will be buying this more often than directed that's for sure
Buy any clay but this souped up play-doh
Buyer beware! Sculpey III is very brittle after baking. Clay is ok if making large chunky pieces but not for fine jewelry or pieces that need to be drilled, it will crack or break it. If you like soft clay, buy Premo, very strong with no problems later..
Dragon Eyes
I have been using this clay to make dragon eyes, it is more pliable (before baking) then what I used to use Premo and baked in let's time, so I don't have to worry about over baking. To finish off the eyes I coat the clay in water based polyurethane.
Great!!
I don't know why some people don't like it, but I do small things with details, and the softness never bothered me. In fact, this is my favorite clay.
clay pins
This is the best clay for clay pins! I recommend buying white then painting it over and then glazing it with resin.
