Great product
Great thread to use in line needle coiling. Use to make pine needle baskets and also coilin g pine needles on the rim gourds.
Not good
I tried making bracelets with this and it did not melt it just burned like a candle
Not good for Pura Vida bracelets
The wax doesn’t seal….the chord just burns.
Perfect for hand stitched book binding
Great weight for saddle stitch book binding. Wax locks the stitches to keep binding tight. (On the 1-star bracelet: Of course it “just burns” instead of melting— linen is a natural material. Only synthetic cord like nylon will “seal” cut ends by burning.)
This is waxed LINEN (nylon melts)
This is great thread and will hold well, but will not melt. Great color. This is good for locking tight knots, working with leather, tying feather ends, etc. For melting project ends, nylon macramé cord should be used.
Money wasted
Brakes too easy, cannot complete a project when your thread breaks over and over again. I do not recommend this product for beading or any crafts that you have to pull the string, making jewelry it will break. You cannot gift any craft you make with this.
Works excellent
I use this for hafting wrap on my knives. It's strong, very easy to work with, it adheres to itself nicely even so, I glue it for a water-tight seal, and it holds its color. I just wish they still made all the colors denim, green, etc…
Excellent. Very sturdy.
I use this waxed linen for bookbinding. Works great. Stays in place. Very strong.
Great Product!
I use this cord to make Rosaries and it is wonderful! I reinforce the exposed areas with a little bit of fabric glue to stiffen it up but the cord works beautifully. I have given away hundreds of Rosaries and no one has ever had a problem with breaking.
Best there is
I make period correct leather bags for reinactors of the French & Indian war. I have used this for years and have gone through dozens and dozens of spools. Great product and NO, it doesn't break when you pull on it!
