You're better off with the bending pliers
Bar was dirty and scratched up (an actual dirt fingerprint on it) straight out of a brand new package. The cuff would not stay on my wrist after using the bar only. You would need to finish off with bending pliers to get a decent fit and polished look.

I LOVE the bracelet bending bar to get the initial bracelet shape. I have bracelet bending pliers and use them to fine tune the fit, but it is much easier to start with this. The blanks have a clear protective film and I stamp before removing it.

Great Tool!
I got this after the pliers because I like flattop bracelets & this designed for that. As you bend the blank, stop before you go past the top of the curve. This gives you flattop & if you want to soften the meeting joint, then lightly use the pliers.
