Plating Wears Off

I love these bead caps. The down side of these bead caps is that the gold plating is thin and wears out fairly quickly, leaving a grayish look. Too bad.

Do not buy if you need 40

I bought 2 packages of these bead caps hoping it would be enough for a necklace. I got through only 17 beads before I had only one cap left. You do the math hint: it doesn't add up to the 40 promised caps. The second package only contained 39.

Ruined My Bracelet

These bead caps are a pretty design, but the excuse for gold plating is horrible. I used these in an amethyst bracelet and each cap turned either orange or red. This is the second finding from Hobby Lobby that has ruined a jewelry project for me.
