Metallic silver beads
Silver painted. ‘Silver color’ rubs/wears off. Disappointing when you spend time, money, and effort on project only to have silver come off beads.
Nice to have a third size option in seed beads
The 8/0 size of glass seed beads are great when you want to use something smaller than a regular 6/0 but you don't want to use the very tiny 11/0. As another person had mentioned, the metallic silver beads are painted and the color does wear off.
Coat them
Standard practice is to spray these with Mod Podge or another fixative, which is something seasoned beaders are aware of. These are good quality and shouldn't be given a low-star rating because the user doesn't know how to use them.
Czech 8/0 Glass seed beads
I have purchased many many many of these size 8/0, and love making crocheted Bracelets and Necklaces. I just wish I had more in my pocketbook, so I can do more bead designs. I will keep purchasing for the great price I'm paying.
Color Faded After 1 Week!
I made a Daisy chain bracelet. After 1 week of wear at work, the color faded. I was disappointed.
Color Rubbed Off!
I made a daisy chain bracelet with this color and the green 1814318. The color rubbed off in 5 days. Very disappointing!!
Great beads
These seed beads are a great value when they are on sale. I prefer working with 8/0 size and appreciate the colors and finishes offered. Save yourself from disappointment when crafting with dyed or metallic beads by sealing them with clear acrylic.
Love them!
I do a ton of bead work with 8/0 and 11/0 sead beads and there is a wonderful variety in both sizes. They are great value especially when on sale.
8/0 beads for bracelets
I have crocheted close to 150 bracelets for the ladies at our church. No one has complained about the color coming off as I have not pretreated the beads. I love the new colors that you’ve added and happy that I found these beads.
Color fades
I used the Czech glass beads to make a few bracelets for myself. In about a weeks time the color wore off of the purple beads. I don't recommend these beads for bracelet making.
