Master’s Touch 1/2 pan set. Happy I took the risk.
I’m a crafter not painter. I Like them better than Winsor & Newton. A tie between these and Prima but on sale the price of these is so much better. Nice transperancy with wet on wet application. A few colors I could do without but still a good buy!
blends poorly
I bought the 24 set. I like the colors but the paints themselves blend poorly and the metal tin they come in does not hold the pans properly. if they get knocked around all the paints fall out inside the tin. there are no labels so keep it upright!
Good for beginners
I recently purchased this set. Paints are pretty good. Def. For practice. Nice tin and I like the removable pans. Little hint because they do slide around some. Get a roll of cheap thin double sided tape and stick it on each row in the tin and snap back.
Tin is gray inside
My store finally got these in and I was excited. Till I got home and opened them. The inside is not white or even close. It's a light purple gray. How can you mix the correct color on a gray palette? Didn't even touch the paint. Having to return them.
Great Product!
I had bought these paints for $20 a few months back and I find them amazing! I would reccomend them for anyone wanting to start watercolors! Be careful however, some colors are easy to reignite on paper.
I love the richness of the colors
I love this pan set. I think the colors are so rich. I have loved the quality of my paintings with this set. It’s the best set I’ve seen for the price point. (Use a 40% coupon for even better savings)
Great for beginners!
These paints wet easily, go on paper very pigmented (but not opaque), and they dry shockingly vibrant. The dry paint is slightly chalky and pigments transfer little onto a tissue if rubbed lightly. I would recommend these to an adult beginner.
Great buy
Colors actually do blend and mix well if you are following color theory correctly. I have made lots of colors using only six of the primary and avoided making “mud”. These ARE opaque colors too. Slightly chalky and dry with some glitter finish too..odd
Great for the price!
So I just went to Hobby Lobby this morning and picked up the 48 count and I think it's perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. I am by no means a painter, I just wanted some water colors for journaling. I love a good bit of color!!!!
Loved it!!!
It's great for beginners and watercolor pros
