Krylon UV-Resistant Acrylic Coating is a clear finish that protects surfaces from damaging UV light rays. The permanent finish guards against fading, is non-yellowing, and moisture-resistant. It dries to touch in ten to fifteen minutes, and is dry enough to handle in two hours. It's perfect for use with wood, metal, wicker, glass, plaster, ceramic, paper, paper mache, and dried/silk flowers!

Use it for everything!
I use Krylon UV-resistant acrylic on anything that I want to fix the color too. It always works! I even sprayed Purpleheart wood and it has stayed purple for over 15 years now. It leaves a slight gloss but not enough to detract from a project.

It is not glossy, I'd call it satin.
