Not impressed
I work with copic alcohol ink markers and this paper is not worth the price. It bleeds, tears up, and is spotty with darker colors. I don’t recommend if you’re planning on using copic markers.
Surprisingly good paper
I use different brands of alcohol markers and this is one of the best papers I've used. It produces richer colors than a lot of other marker pads, and I've had no tearing or bleeding (although I rarely color more than three layers). Fantastic with Copics.
Great paper
Just did a swatch and bleed test with some Ohuhu markers using this paper. I got literally 39 layers of wet ink before I got any bleeding through to the back sheet. I'm by no means professional, but for my hobby drawing this is the best buy you can get!
Avoid this brand…
I'm a fashion design student and I use the paper for brainstorming. I wasted my money buying this, so I had to find a use for it. This paper won't give you a professional look at all. I use prismacolor markers and the colors look so bland on this paper.
Great sketchpad
Love this paper it’s thin but blends well great marker SKETCHpad not for finished pieces great fun
Trash
There is no reason paper quality should be this bad, especially when it is used as intended. Stuff like this deters artist who live on budget. Please don't waste your self on this.
For Concept art and underlay cleanup
I'm using this for concept art and underlay cleanup. Scott Robertson is my instructor and his's suggesting this thiner polymer-backed marker paper for Copics is definitely better than the marker-killing bleed through on Strathmore's opaque paper.
75gsm is 20 lb, not 46lb
I like this thin paper, but it's not 46lb as listed and printed on the pad's cover. The stated weight of 75gsm is probably correct, but it's 20 lb. That 46 has got to be a typo. But that 20lb is perfect for overlay tracing Manga and work design concepts.
Bleeds and spotty
Save your money and buy something else with quality. Ive used many markers across the board with this paper and all look bland and blotchy. From Copic all the way to cheap alcohol markers it does not make a difference. This paper will degrade your work.
Good for fountain pens
No opinion on its use for markers, but, surprise, this paper makes a great, fountain-pen friendly notepad! It shows off shading inks wonderfully and doesn't bleed or feather even with my extremely wet-writing flex pens.
