Strathmore 400-Series Mixed Media Paper allows for wider range of values so you can render with graphite and other dark media to push dark values and white pencils and light medium to add highlights and make your illustrations pop.

This sheet is made of 100% recycled materials and contains 30% post-consumer fiber. It is designed with the characteristics of watercolor and the finish of a drawing sheet, perfect for use with a wide range of applications from wet to dry media. Add on watercolor, gouche, acrylic, pen, ink, pencils, markers, pastel, collage pieces, and more to explore an interesting art study or make a fascinating work of art!

I used it for charcoal drawings and it worked well.
