fantastic classic pencil
After trying out the new Faber Castel Matte pencils I just had to come here to leave five stars. Despite all the hype for FC Matte, the Kimberly 9xxb is THE darkest pencil I've ever used. Nothing else compares. I wish more people knew that.

I believe what you say about this General's graphite pencil after having used the General's graphite chunk… which is so dark/matte/black and it has no graphite glare.
