Love them.
I am 17 and exploring my talents and started with oil pastel last year with a cheaper grade. I went out and bought these and would buy them again. The colors are vibrant, fun to blend, and hold up well on mix media papers. They're fun with textured papers
Dissappointed
I had a cheap set and wanted to try a better brand. This brand is not good. Cant layer the colors and does not blend well.
I like them
I am at beginner level and I found these very beautiful. I recommend.
clumpy :(
They clump under your fingers when you try to create an even background. I hate to say it, but my crayons give a more reliable effect. (hey, they're underrated!) I'll get a pricier set of pastels, worth it to get what I'm envisioning on the page.
They’re okay..
Just by swatches I am not a fan
Oil pastels
Extremely crumbly and difficult to blend or layer
Great for students
I recommend these over affordable brands for students at MS and HS level because of the quality, thickness and number of the pastels in the set. I usually get them when they are discounted too.
