Great Set
Packaging is a little different than advertised online, the sticks have more squared edges. Nonetheless, great quality and I look forward to using them for several projects.

Really nice expensive product. A lot of chalk dust. But I don’t mind. That’s the fun of using dry pastels. It really does hold good to the paper and the colors are vibrant. I would definitely buy this product again.
Not my favorite…
I hate to say this because I love Hobby Lobby, but I would classify these as “chalk”, not soft pastels. I am an experienced pastelist and use high quality pastels - I just wanted to give these a try. They are VERY hard and dusty- but I’m still having fun!

Are chalk not meant to be soft… says it in the discript.
Dusty, no pigment,
I've been shopping at Hobby Lobby for thirty years but these new cheap brands are beneath them to sell. Wish they would buy something good like Rembrandt.
