Inaccurate mess
The pen has a nice shining silver color and dries really well, but neither of that matters if you cannot do anything with it. The pen bleeds so much, so quickly that you will not be able to draw anything remotely accurate with it.
Can't Live Without It!
I use the Pilot Gold Extra Fine Metallic Marker to personalize hundreds of ornaments annually. I have tried other brands, and it's just not the same! Tips: shake well, "start" it on scrap paper, then write (don't press too hard).
waste of money :(
It works perfectly for a few minutes, but then bleeds everwhere and won't write normally anymore. This used to be my favorite pen, but this has happened the last three times I've purchased it.
Awesome
I make wedding guest book signs. I bought and tried 10 different paint pens. This pen was by far the best. It didn't bleed and all and the signatures looked beautiful.
Leaks
This is my first pilot gold marker. Will also be my last. Waste of money and leaked all over. Ruined a project.
Perfect
The key to the marker is to not press hard, it has a continuous flow after you break it in (by shaking and pressing down on tip lightly on a scrap paper to start the paint flow)
GREAT pen
I have used these pens for many years to sign my portraits. Works great on all types of photo print finishes including canvas. Definitely should practice on a scrap piece though since the other comments in this thread are a learning concern.
Beautiful gold shine
I bought this thinking it was a thicker tip, but it works well and leaves a beautiful shine for the fine tip that it is. I want the silver one too now.
