great easel
We use these in a classroom setting. They are much heaver material then the ones we bought thru some other art stores. Definitely more durable.
The concept with chain in back???? Useless!
The chain in back makes this useless. Even store display wasn't standing up properly because chain was unattached. Save your money
Great easel
We use these in a classroom setting. We don't use the chain. Definitely a more durable, heavier material than the ones we purchased at other art stores.
Perfect for a class
What a great little easel! We have been buying them one at a time from the local Hobby Lobby with the 40% off coupon. No problem with the chain. I marked 4" up on the back leg and drilled a pilot hole with a small drill bit and doubled the chain up.
No chain hole?
Disappointed that there wasn’t already a hole for the chain. My husband had to use his drill.
Perfect for paint class!
I had to drill a hole, no big deal! These easels are solid! I ordered 12 of them for the paint classes that I do and they work well at holding 16" x 20" canvases! You can't beat the price either. Use your 40% off coupon!
Its alright but could be better
The instruction sheet is so faded you can't really read it. and to make matters worse there is no hole for the chain to go through in the back. I was able to rig it up with a twist tie but you would think it would come with a hole predrilled
Great Little Easel
I bought a bunch of these during a 50% off sale! The directions aren't very good, but easy enough to assemble. I did find it is simpler if you drill a pilot hole for the eye hook, but otherwise it is perfect.
Good easel for the price.Don't overtighten eye scw
For the price, it is a decent easel.Instructions are about useless, but if you study the easel,it's not hard to put together.Used a pin vise to make a pilot hole for eye screw, but over-tightened it (luckily I had another). Great for T-shirt airbrushing.
No hole!
My only problem was that there was no hole on the chain. So I had no drill that would make that small of a hole so I had to use a push pin in order for it to work. Other than that it is a pretty good easel
