Great easel, just one question
The easel is fantastic, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's made of American or European Beechwood? Nothing on the product says one way or the other. Thanks!
It stays in place perfectly, and requires no assembly despite what it says. Storage, too.
Very Well Made
I was impressed with the quality of the easel. this was exactly what I was looking for for a desktop easel. I did apply polyurethane to all surfaces for protection from paints and felt lined all of the inside surfaces. Turned out great!
Horrible strong smell
While the piece seems functional how do you get rid of the horrible intense smell. I have rubbed lemon oil on it but it is still awful. Any suggestions?

Awesome Beech wood Box Easel, great for outdoor pastel drawing/water color sketching, on the dining room/kitchen table for oil/acrylic painting too. Nice item to have, highly recommended. Oh I like the factory/varnish smell of the box too!
Worthless
Keeps on clapsing on me not enough room for my paints can't hold my long brushes very disappointed took back to store then got the beechwood sketch easel way better no problem with it even though it was more well worth it hold big tubes of paint long brus
Beechwood Box Easel By Masters Touch Not So Master
Pros: Price, Storage Space Cons: Design, Design, Design Does not keep brushes pencils of paints from falling out of the drawer when you pick it up by the carry handle. They all fall into the cavity of the box each time the box is moved.
Great easel!
I love this easel! It stays up and holds canvases perfectly. I even got it while it was on sale for $50. I keep my brushes in a small bag and then in the side drawer and it’s no problem! I love the dividers in the middle for my most used paints & sponges.
Flimsy
Twice now, the screws in the brackets at the bottom have ripped out of the wood, causing the easel and painting to collapse while painting. Decent easel but certainly not sturdy enough to justify the cost.
