Very Disappointing
Wiggled so much it wouldn't hold its square shape. As clamps were very difficult to remove. The edges of the clamp were so tight they made holes in my fabric. Don't waste your money on this.
Beck yes
Was weary of this for a lot time and stuck to the hoops that are impossible to get taut. This is so way to use and hold I'm kicking myself for not buying it sooner.
Clamps break
After a few weeks, the clamps break and no longer provide tension.

My favorite
These are my favorite to use when stitching. They don't crease the fabric so you don't have to iron it later.

I have been using the 2 smaller sizes for over 2 years. So nice that the bars are interchangeable to make different configurations. Will be purchasing the largest to accomodate my bigger projects. Very happy with them all.
Yarnology Lap Frame
I have the largest one and I enjoy using it for my big embroidery projects . The clamps don't tighten down very well after a while you can use strips of fabric or felt to help the clamps tighten down . But overall it's a really great lap frame !!!!
Loose frame
Just bought this. One side of the frame at both corners is loose-fitting and easily slides out. The instructions state it should be tight. I plan to glue it together. Clamps are tight. Hope they hold up.
Not Good
Ripped my hand-dyed linen and put holes in it.
Need Hercules Hands
Just bought today. I’m not a fan so far. Either I’m a light weight or the clamps are too tight. I struggled getting it off. I hope it loosens up,
