Strong chemical smell
Very cute and well made but very strong chemical smell. I trashed them outside, it still made the house smell really bad. My son was upset he didn't have them for his party but the smell seemed unsafe and give us all headaches.
Strong odor
Nice product….but extremely strong oder. Let them air out for a few days, didn’t help much.
Less than one star.
These have a ridiculously strong smell, similar to gasoline. I had hoped that maybe the smell would ease up over time, but even the next day…they made people physically ill, and we didn't even really get to wear them before bagging them up.
Very strong smell
These masks are very cute, but they have a very nauseating gassy/styrofoam smell. Luckily I figured out a way to get the smell out before our party. Put the masks in the dryer on low heat for 20 minutes with a Dryer sheet, then 20 more minuets without.
Horrible Chemical Smell
The smell is SO bad and it seems dangerous for the kids to be inhaling and putting these chemicals on their face.

All of the other reviews are right- I wish I had looked these up online before buying them. The chemical smell is giving me a headache. I’ll try the dryer tip tonight as the party is tomorrow, otherwise they are getting thrown away.
Awful Smell
I bought these masks before reading up on the reviews. The masks have an awful gasoline smell. I will be soaking them in vinegar to hopefully get the smell out. If that doesn't work, then they are going in the garbage. A waste of $2.99.
Awesome!
We bought these for my son's birthday party and they were perfect! They do have a strong chemical smell, but we left them sitting out over night and the smell was gone in time for the party. They're made of foam, and the kids LOVED them!
