these do not fit any standard doors!!! the shaft is too long… waste of time and money!
Beautiful door knobs!
I had the same problem with the shaft being too long for a standard door, luckily, we have a machine shop where I work and I had them cut down to fit. They are really beautiful knobs if you're okay with having to modify them.

every part sucked
Opening to wide for interior doors. Doesn't have a lock for exterior doors. Did anybody else have a problem with the square rod? Didn't work with any of my knobs. You can put it threw, but doesn't actually open & close door. UGH
Not an active knob
These are wondeful door pulls ! Not an active knob as so many people think. we've fitted every closet in the house with these Very heavy! Just beautiful
Great quality and beautiful
This knob is stunning, very solid and easy to install. The center piece that connects the two knobs is called the spindle - it’s too long for a standard width door. Go to Lowe’s or Ace Hardware and buy a shorter spindle if your door is standard width.
No bolts
These knobs do not come with screws and they are very, very hard to fine. I'm on my third store and still looking

Good for old doors only
These are great for replacing an old knob , we tried on our newer doors and it didn’t work but our house is older and a lot of our closets are old doors with old style knobs . They worked great for those doors and we just used the other knobs screws .
How to make it fit
We LOVE these knobs for ALL the doors in our 150 YO farm house. We did have to cut the threaded shaft down about a 1/2 an inch, but that was not hard. Also, I was not aware that it didn't come with the screws, but Hobby Lobby sells these. No worries!
