Stinks to high heaven!!
I bought a pack of this color to finish the armholes on a dress. When I got it out of the package it smelled overwhelmingly like dead fish. I let it air out and thought that solved the problem, but wearing the dress I made it makes it stink again!
bias tape smell? No
I have used many, many packages of the single fold bias tape and not one had an odor to it. It's a good product.

Single fold bias binding
The product is great quality. Perhaps, the woman who bought a package that smells,don’t know what could’ve happened to it, but it can ne remedied by soaking it in borax detergent. It takes all the smell out !
