Larger Diameter than advertised
I'm sure these would work well for many projects, but I had expected these to be closer to the advertised diameter of 1/8" (0.125"). They are actually too big to fit in the holes I planned as they are measuring around 0.155" instead.
They are NOT 1/8
I should have read the other review.. They are 9/64. Not worth my trip back to the store.
wood dowels - 3/16"
found out the hard way that the 3/16" dowels are also not as advertised. Worse part is they are a very tight 13/16" if you force it, or a sloppy 7/32"
Wooden Dowels
These are wooden dowels people !! Not precision machined aircraft parts !! Two seconds with a piece of light sandpaper will fix all of your problems. These dowels are perfect for woodworking.
