Beware - Not for outdoor use
This product is put together with water soluble glue and will fall apart in the first rain storm.
Apparently not for outdoor use.
Looks great, but if you are wanting to put it outside in the weather, it will fall apart when it rains. We had a very small amount of rain and the glue didn't hold at all.
Painted Lemon Lime, Hot Pink with Gold Hightlights
We live in sunny South Louisiana, where the houses are often painted with bright colors. I love buying these birdhouses and painting them wild colors to sit on our back patio. They look great and now everybody wants me to paint theirs.
FELL APART AFTER 1ST RAIN
MADE WITH WATER-SOLUBLE GLUE. WILL DISINTEGRATE OUTSIDE

People who write a one-star review on this product are singularly unimaginative!
Buyer beware. A sad project
Bought these while visiting my grandkids. We painted. Had a blast. Drilled hooks into the fence, put some birdseed in it. My granddaughter was elated. Next day watching birds was delightful but day 3 with rain it literally fell a part every single piece.
Wonderful!
This project is meant to be fun and exciting, and I loved crafting it with my kids.(Note: when it rains you take your bird house in). Overall this was a Wonderful experience and I would love to buy it again.
Just wondering -
Did anyone know that you are supposed to seal it after you paint it? I had one I did years ago and it still looks great. Maybe you should buy a small can of sealer next time you want to make one?
Save from rain
After painting and dry, dip entirely in resin. This will protect from moisture.
