Galileo Thermometer
Watch the wonders of science in action with Galileo Thermometer! This clear-glass, cylindrical thermometer is filled with water and has four floating, onion-shaped orbs inside with different colors of liquid in them as well as gold-colored charms dangling below with temperatures in Celsius and Fahrenheit stamped on them.
Based off the invention of the famous Italian astronomer and physicist, Galileo, this functional home accent works to show how the densities of liquids change as the temperature fluctuates. Station it away from the sun, in your home or office, and use this visual device to figure out the temperature by looking at the sinking and rising, glass orbs.

Worked Until it Broke
I’ve had mine for 3 months now and finally after the 50th time of my cat knocking it down it broke. I do not believe that it’s just water inside of that as it smells terribly like a gas or fuel. Would not recommend unless you can keep it from breaking.
Pretty & works but don't drop it!
Also worked but broke into pieces. I had mine for about 2years and while cleaning Christmas decor, it fell onto my kitchen floor and broke into a ton of pieces. I thought it was plastic but when it fell it sounded like glass. Also had a gas smell inside
Works great
I’ve had mine for about 20 years. Still works great
Glass?
So if you break, will the colorful orbs still works and can be transferred to some tall clear vase? Any one pls reply. Thanks
