Love this board
The board is very cute but I used chalk markers and it will not erase. I guess you have to use regular chalk.
Chalk won’t come off
There were no directions or prohibitions in or on the packaging. If you use chalk pens it won’t come off. Hoping the magic eraser will work. Just know this in advance. I planned to use it for both kids and may not be able to.

Chalk markers wouldn't come off.when I tried cleaning it a few different ways I found online some of the finish came off from me scrubbing to hard. I don't no if board is non-porous or not but it stain very bad.
