Lovely watercolors!
These watercolors lay down on paper really well. The colors are vibrant and they don't require that much water to get a lot of pigment out of the wells. They do have a slight odor to them but I love that the tray is made out of metal.
Great Watercolors for the Price
These watercolors are excellent for the price. Nice pigment load and spreads easily. While alittle chalky it can be easily transparent with ample water. But at the same time can easily become opaque in nature. But that just offers options in my opinion.
Great Value
The colors are pigmented when pre-moistened . Great transparency but had to lift the colors/ blend. leaves streaks on the paper. Some colors are almost neon But overall a great palette.
Very hard to mix
Any water applied is lost down the side of the pigment block. This makes it difficult to load a brush with enough color to transfer to mixing tray. Blocks are so solid you cant scrub up color. I'll try drowning the blocks with water to see if they soften
Love these
They work great with watercolor pencils. I am in love with them, can't stop using them to create my watercolor projects. I hope they continue to sell these. I will be back to buy for sure.
Great for beginners
As a beginner these are very nice for the price my only complaints are that these do smell however I got used to it and they dont blend super easy
Not very good
This is an ok set to play around with. I wouldn’t buy it again. To many complaints to list: don’t waste your money, go for a better set.
Great for kids vibrent colors
I got these paints a while back I think for what they are they are good product! These are a great step up from the kids watercolors. The colors are bright, they are chalky when dry but are good for texture while painting. Happy Painting!
Seems Good To Me
Based on my limited experience these do a good job for the price. Blending colors is a challenge, but I think it has more to do with my inexperience because eventually I was able to get the colors I was looking for. I'd say this is a great starter set.
Smell is overpowering
I notice these watercolors, they signage displayed them at 50% off. I gladly grab two for both of my children. Open at home notice they smell like concentrated brown bottle Lysol. Puke! They are too overpowering. Made in China. Will return ASAP.
